Wool4Wealth
Wool4Wealth is an AWI funded special three year 'course', consisting of 12 hands-on professional workshops designed to help build higher productivity and profits for enrolled wool enterprises.
Working in a small group environment, leading specialists will share their skills and in-depth wool production knowledge.
Topics covered in the Wool4Wealth program are:
- Comparative analysis of key profit drivers
- Business planning
- Optimising stocking rates
- Increasing lamb numbers
- Sheep health
- Using genetics for profit
- Wool marketing strategies
- Drought management strategies
- Succession planning
- Grazing management
These specialists will also address specific issues for enrolled businesses.

The three-year program involves 12 hands-on workshops for small groups of producers across six major regions of NSW - Northern Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Central West Slopes and Plains, Central West Tablelands, Southern Slopes and Tablelands, and the Riverina. |

Wool4Wealth is expected to attract 50 groups and 800 woolgrowers over the next three years to the network. |

Through participation in Wool4Wealth, woolgrowers could hope to:
- sell more wool per hectare;
- sell a higher quality product per head;
- sell product at a higher price per kilogram; and
- sell product at a lower cost per kilogram.
