Woolgrower Forums 2003
In 2003 Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) held four Planning for Your Profitability forums in regional wool growing centres around Australia to help determine woolgrower R&D investment priorities and guide AWI's levy fund expenditure.

Background
To ensure that accurate and transparent reporting is provided to all shareholders and other stakeholders, including government, AWI initiated a performance and strategic planning review process that will lead into the Annual General Meeting on 21 November 2003, in Perth.
This process also links directly into the Wool Levy Poll 2003 (WoolPoll), which is steered by the Wool Levy Poll Panel operating independently from AWI.
Written submissions
All woolgrower shareholders and industry groups were asked to provide written feedback and submissions on:
- AWI's Performance Review - How you feel AWI has been performing to date; and
- AWI Strategic Planning - Where you believe AWI should be focusing its RDI investments in the future.
Written submissions concerning the AWI Performance Review were requested by 30 April 2003 and written submissions concerning future AWI Strategic Planning were requested by 15 May 2003.
Report to AWI Shareholders
A report to shareholders was released at the end of the performance and strategic planning review process.
